Storage Management

Businesses need a set of tools, processes, and procedures to implement and use computer systems and services. This is known as systems management, and it begins at installation and continues for the life of the system. It can be applied to a client or a server, but it is most useful when applied collectively to all systems that run a business.

The ultimate goal of systems management is to help reduce the overall cost of operating the business systems. One key way is to enable the systems administrator to install, configure, and manage a large number of computer problems without leaving their desk. It is much more productive for the administrator to perform an operation once from a central location and have it apply to many systems.

Dell OpenManage is a comprehensive set of technologies, tools, and alliances based on industry standards that meet the needs for efficient management.
