Validated Servers

In a PowerVault SAN, servers provide the attached client systems with access to high throughput, reliable storage systems. Servers also manage the storage systems. When installing, configuring, managing, or maintaining a server the installed operating system, software, and storage that is being used on or by that server must be considered.

In addition to the complete line of Dell PowerEdge servers, many IBM, HP, and Compaq servers are also validated for use in a Dell PowerVault or Dell | EMC SAN.
