Dell PowerEdge 1650

Bezel

The front bezel of the PowerEdge 1650 is very similar bezel of the PowerEdge 2550. Below are the steps to remove the front bezel.

 Removing the Bezel
Step 1: Unlock the front bezel by rotating the key in the key lock until the key lock is vertical.

Step 2: On the left side of the bezel, press the front bezel release latch to release the front bezel.

Step 3: Remove the front bezel.

Active ID
The PowerEdge 1650 bezel features an Active ID LED display. The Dell badge will be illuminated in one of two colors depending on the status of the system (see the graphics below).

This image illustrates the 1650 chassis ActiveID lighted amber The caution icon lights amber when the system needs attention. The amber caution light indicates a power problem, a fan/temperature problem, a hard-disk drive problem, or that the PCI expansion cards need attention. Remove the bezel to determine the source of the problem.
