The Dell Server Assistant

Navigating the DSA

The DSA CD uses a Web-type interface for ease of navigation. The DSA CD may be booted to or it may be run from an operating system (OS) environment. Not all options are available in the OS environment.

The discussion of the Dell Server Assistant in this course covers version 6.x, available with version 2.x of the OpenManage Applications CD.

Home

The Home page is displayed when the server is booted to the DSA CD, or when the CD is started in the OS environment.

NOTE:   The Server Setup and System Tools options will not be available when the CD is run from within an operating system environment.
