PowerEdge Chassis and Rack Designs

PowerEdge 4600 Chassis

The PowerEdge 4600 is a next generation system with a chassis design resembling that of the PowerEdge 2500. Like the 2500, the 4600 chassis may be configured for either tower or rack use.

The following image shows a PowerEdge 4600 in a tower configuration:

4600 front view- tower configuration The rack-mount version has the chassis rotated to a horizontal orientation to fit a rack properly. The racking ears are installed on the chassis on either side of the front bezel.
