PowerEdge 8450 Chassis

The PowerEdge 8450 supports up to eight slotted Intel processors and uses a different system architecture than other PowerEdge servers. Several subassemblies taking the place of a system board are contained in a rack-only 7U chassis that fits into standard rack cabinets:

W A R N I N G!   Because the PowerEdge 8450 weighs approximately 140 lbs., at least two people are required to lift the system.

NOTE:   Before lifting or moving the PowerEdge 8450, the weight can be significantly reduced by removing all three power supplies.
