Removing the Bezel

To remove the front bezel of the PowerEdge 8450 use the following steps:

1. Press the right side of the PowerEdge 8450 badge to unlatch it and then press the left side to reveal the system lock.

2. Using the key located on the back of the badge, unlock the lock.

3. Grasp the bezel at the top corners and pull outward ½ inch.

4. Grasp the bezel at the bottom corners and pull outward to release the bezel from the chassis. Put the bezel in a safe place.
