PE 7150 Front Components
  • The Power LED will turn green when the power supplies are turned on and the system is receiving power.

  • Reset forces a hardware reset of the system.

  • The Power Failure LED will turn amber if a fault is detected with any of the power supplies or any system voltages, or if a redundant AC power line failure occurs.

  • The Fan Failure LED will turn amber if a fan failure is detected or temperature is out of acceptable range.

  • The PCI Failure LED will turn amber if one or more of the PCI slots needs attention.

  • The Hard Drive Fault LED will turn amber if a problem is detected with one of the internal hard drives.

The LCD on the panel will display the following system information messages during POST:

  • FIRST ROW MEMORY TEST
  • BASE MEMORY TEST
  • CMOS TEST
  • KEYBRD BAT TEST
  • INITIALIZE TIMER
  • PARALLEL TEST
  • KEYBOARD TEST
  • INITIALIZE VIDEO
  • INITIALIZE IDE
  • SERIAL TEST
  • PREPARE TO BOOT
  • ITANIUM (TM)
