Management Menu
CTRL-M Utility- Main

The Management Menu is the first screen displayed when entering the AMI utility. Notice the instructions across the bottom of the screen, which provide useful help for all menus. Available choices from the Management Menu are:

  • Configure allows access to options for configuring arrays.

  • Initialize is used to initialize logical drives.

  • Objects provides access to information and configuration options for installed controllers and attached devices.

  • Format is used to low-level format SCSI drives attached to the controller.

  • Rebuild allows for reconstruction of arrays when a drive has failed (provided a RAID level has been used that supports redundancy).

  • Check Consistency is used to scan for errors across logical drives.

  • Select Adapter allows selection of different adapters installed in the system.

Submenus are entered by highlighting a choice and pressing <Enter>.
