Container Configuration Utility

After the Container Configuration submenu is selected from the Main Menu, the following options are available:

• Manage Containers allows management of all arrays connected to the controller, including configuration of failover (online spare) drives.

• Create Container is used for the creation of a new drive array.

• Initialize Drives makes drives available for use in an array.

Initializing a drive that is already assigned to a container (drive array) will remove all array information from the drive, causing all data on the drive to be lost! Initialization should not be performed on a drive before all necessary data has been backed up.
